Viola: 16" Douglas C. Cox, 1991 Brattleboro, VT #190 (XVA1621)

Douglas Cox is a graduate of the Violin Making school in Mittenwald, Germany. Post-baccalaureate, he spent many years restoring and repairing instruments at the J. Bradley Taylor shop in Boston before opening his own workshop in 1981. This beautiful viola has an even sound with earthy undertones. Its overall character and comfortability make it a delight to play.
