Description
This traditional J-35 style instrument instrument was built with the measurements of literally everything in Paul Geramia's original 1938 Gibson J-35, the third Gibson sloped D model Gibson produced and the one maybe most sought after by musicians. The bracing scheme is precisely right down to the two tone bars first introduced on the J35 and hot hide glue throughout. It has a lovely original yellow center style sunburst applied over unsealed wood like the originals and natural stained back and sides. Fairbanks added just one modern build feature and that is carbon fiber reinforcing bars in the neck which are small, light and stiff which just makes guitars louder.

- Hot hide glue throughout
- Bone nut and through (long) saddle
- traditional early sunburst
- Wavery nickel tuners
- Ivoroid binding
