3029 Air release valve

Grey Cast Iron HDL® Air Release Valve type 3029 is specially designed to release air with a minimum of spilled water. The rising water shoots the ball to the seat to close the valve before the water gets around the ball out of the valve.

Airspeeds up to 7 m/s are allowed

HDL® Air Release Valves offer great operational reliability, because of their construction and working principal, based on a floating ball, moving freely in a valve housing. In this way air can escape effectively and by means of a floating effect the water flow is prevented. The metal ball is covered with oil-, sewage and seawater resistant NBR rubber what provides a perfect and silent seal.
